Art, differently. What if coloring weren’t just a way to unwind, but a way to create a work that exists nowhere else?
Les Coloriages Inachevés are unlike any other coloring book. The drawings are deliberately left open — unfinished. They wait for your hand before they fully exist. This is not a template to fill in, but an encounter between a sculptor’s eye and your colors. Every finished page is one of a kind. Yours.
Les Coloriages Inachevés — N°01
An adult coloring book created by George — a sculptor rated on Artprice and Akoun, four of whose works belong to France’s national cultural heritage. Detachable pages, designed to be colored, then framed. Certificate of authenticity included. “Coloring has never been this free.”
Available on Amazon. Dedicated, hand-signed copies directly from the studio: thegeorgearts@gmail.com.
From the canvases to the book
This book grows out of the Coloriages inachevés series — large canvases, exhibited and now held in private collections. The principle is the same: the work stops at just the right moment and waits for a gaze — here, your colors — to carry it on.
The book in color
Every finished page is one of a kind. Here is the book in the hands of those who brought it to life.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from a classic coloring book?
Every drawing is deliberately unfinished: you don’t fill in a picture, you complete it. A book of co-creation, not mere coloring.
Do I need to know how to draw?
No. You can simply color the existing areas; extending the line is an invitation, never an obligation.
What materials should I use?
Colored pencils first; fine-tip markers work too, with a sheet slipped under the page.
Does it make a good gift?
A studio-book signed by an artist, where every finished page becomes a work to frame. Original, personal, lasting.
