A French sculptor working in bronze and steel, George gives form to female figures in metamorphosis, between flesh and foliage. Four of her works belong to France’s cultural heritage. From documenta in Kassel to the contemporary art fairs of Dubai and China, her work travels the world from her studio in Tourrettes-sur-Loup, on the French Riviera.

The artist

A graduate of the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Lyon, George is one of the very few artists to carry out the lost-wax casting, the chasing and the patina herself. Her bronzes are cast at Massimo Del Chiaro in Pietrasanta — the foundry of Botero, Mitoraj and Folon. She is listed on Artprice and Akoun.
